I thought that I would post a few pics from one of the stops on our vacation a couple of weeks ago,  Inverness, CA where I have been going in the summers since I was little. Since so many have asked me about this place, I thought that I would give you a small glimpse of the little town, the house and sites. The house was believed to have been built in 1903 and the story is that when the big earthquake hit, it slid down the hill and voila!

My family took a vaca a week ago and drove down to Lake Tahoe to stay with my best friend and her family who were so kind to invite us down to their ‘stay-cation’!! I have visited lots of times over the years but to stay on the lake was amazing. We were in a perfect house for kids, with a big yard, our own beach and boat too :)! With such a beautiful location we had to take advantage of it and do a quick session! Amazing kids, fabulous parents and the kindest grandparents! Thanks again Lowell’s for a wonderful time!

I had the honor of taking my in-law’s family photos the other week. It’s my husband’s Aunt and Uncle/cousins and they are all so great, I just wished that we got to see them more… pathetic given that they are only 45 minutes away! Anyways, they were so fun to shoot and easy going. Heck, one even changed her clothes behind a (not big enough to block) tree with the classic comment of “I have kids, what do I care”! Love her. Throughout the shoot there were a lot of requests of certain shots/locations wanted. I love that! I have my camera out, so yes, tell me what you want! The kids all showed up with bruises on their legs, scratches on the face from summer fun but most importantly, in good moods. Of course there were a couple that had other ideas of what they wanted to be doing at the time! All and all for an extended family shoot of eleven, I couldn’t have asked for more!!
