I was so excited when the Larsen’s invited me out to their tree farm to photograph them. What an amazing place! We had a great time on a beautiful evening. The boys were chasing the chickens, helping with the burn pile, driving us around on the ‘Gator’, finding caterpillars and being the best two boys for their mom! I loved watching how incredibly sweet they were to their mom (we’re suckers for our boys)and how much the brothers cared for one another.

I have photographed twins before but never two sets of twins! It’s amazing watching mom and dad… I crumble at times with just my two kids and somehow they make having four look easy! My daughter is in the 1st grade with their (super sweet) boys and I was warned that it can get crazy when all four kids are together… lets just say that their was never a dull moment! Such a great, great family- thanks Oneil’s for a fun shoot!
As a newborn gift, the Barbar family was given a gift certificate for a family session with me! They decided to wait until their new baby girl was a bit older and I’m so glad that they did…. she was so happy and smiled the entire time. She has the same huge, gorgeous eyes that her big sister has and if she has the same spunk as her…watch out!
I was so excited when the Steen’s asked me to photograph their family again! They were home, from Taiwan, for the summer and last time I saw them they were a family of three with one on the way… now they have a another darling little boy added to the mix. I’m so glad that we went over to Cathedral Park because we needed a lot of room for Tristan to run around! They are so fun to photograph because they immediately all start playing and interacting together… Tristan didn’t want me to feel left out so next thing I know, as I am laying in the grass snapping shots of his brother, he’s on my back! Such a great family and I can’t wait to see them next year!
I’m so glad that at the last minute we decided to bump their shoot date up early to take advantage of the amazing summer evenings (this obviously was one of the last!). Their shoot last year was out at this farm too, it’s such a great spot we decided to go again (last time it was in Nov and we froze)and new to the family and his first shoot was sweet Ace! We had a great time exploring around the barn, running through the corn and just hanging out in the grass. Grandparents stopped by to take advantage of a few photos too! Love you Price’s and I can’t wait until next year!
One of the things that I love about my job is that I get to see friends that I hadn’t seen in years. Kevin and I went to college together(no need to throw out how long ago that was!)and it was so fun to see him with his darling kids. They were in town for his birthday so they set aside some time for a session- love it! The kids kept us busy, Keira was on the run going everywhere but around us and Brayden had a lot to talk about! At the end Brayden busted out his beloved army men and said that his favorite thing is to play with with his dad… awwww!
