It was a busy photo session at the Naulty home the other week! Daughters running around, outfit changes, grandparents in and out, moving furniture for the best light, going in and out of the house and the entire time… little Zachary was as mellow as can be! What a sweet little boy!

I got to meet another beautiful baby girl a couple of weeks ago! Sweet little Zoey was such a good girl for our shoot. She was cracking us up because she liked having her legs straight out- stiff as a board… we had to work to get her to curl up! Mom and dad were such good, calm first-time parents too and  I can’t wait to see them at their 6 month session!

I had another fantastic shoot with the Lyda’s! This time it was just with sweet William for his 6 month pictures, his older brothers were pretty excited that they didn’t have to be part of it this time. BUT they’ll have to get cleaned up for our session this summer! We went out to this amazing field that was covered with yellow and white flowers as far as you could see! I wish I could have brought all of my sessions here. As excited as we were about the flowers, William really wasn’t happy… so after a bit we decided to go back to their house and wouldn’t you know it… he was happy as a clam.

I have been very fortunate to have met and become friends with such a great group of girls and amazing photographers. When I started this business I never thought that I would gain all of them (and the others throughout the country) too! We met up with all of our kids, let the little ones run loose, we took photos and had a great time! 

I had a great time with the Janssen’s at their home the other week. The boys were getting wound up so we headed outside to give them room to run…and throw rocks! They had such a great wooded area down by a little stream… I could have stayed there for hours!

I got to meet and hang out with another great family last weekend! We had been juggling our session dates since the winter and we finally landed on one and it was a gorgeous night!

I love that so much of my business comes from referrals but I love it when someone finds me on the internet! I went out to the Kawada’s beautiful home on our first sunny day in months and had a great time just running around their yard. Their little boy Erick was mostly interested in picking flowers, checking out rocks, playing with his toys, you know… being a 2 year old! I was trying to get his attention and showed him a shot I took of him in my camera, oh my gosh, his face lit up with the biggest smile. So dad ran in and got a mirror and every time he saw himself we just busted up laughing and gave us the best smiles. Such a sweet, cute boy!

I never would have thought I’d photograph a birth… but that’s exactly why I said yes! I was so flattered when Lindsey(of Lindsey Lyons Photography) asked me to shoot her birth. To say I was excited and nervous is an understatement. I have never watched a birth (my two don’t count!), wholly cow it was amazing (however, her delivery was way too fast but I think she would disagree!). Such a cool experience and I so wish that I had my two documented.

I was so excited… and nervous for my first newborn twin shoot. However, right when I walked into their home I was so comfortable! Such a nice, easy going family (Bacon the dog too!)and three sweet little girls. The girls have a big sister who loves them to pieces but she definitely  wasn’t interested in pictures unless it was tackling dad, sitting on the dog… she was going to do what she wanted! The babies were wide awake the entire time, until the last 20 minutes, but oh my gosh they were so sweet!
