I drove up to Seattle several weeks ago for Kelsey Andersen Photography’s workshop (she is known for amazing sun flares). Well all week and the night before it was pouring rain…. hmmm, how do we practice shooting in evening sun with rain? Well wouldn’t you know it, that morning the sky cleared up and it was perfect out. I wish I had light like this at every shoot!

I met up with Andrew, his family and extended family for a session, then afterwards he hung around for a senior session! Such a good sport!

I always love my sessions with the Reardon’s because there is constant laughing, well add in the grandparents and sister’s family and it never stopped! 

I love these pictures! It’s so fun to photograph a family that you know so well; you know their natural smiles, everyone is comforatble and it shows through in the photos.  For three years I have gotten to photograph them and each year it gets better and better.  I am also super lucky to have them as neighbors!

I got to meet another wonderful family the other week! Dad had bought a session for his wife for a mother’s day gift, which I think is so great. Good job Dad! 

Gotta love a big truck, a big dog and three beautiful ladies!! I really enjoyed meeting these three (or should I say four)!

I was so flattered that Suzanne (of Click! by Suzanne Photography) had asked me take her families photos. She is a great newborn photographer and it’s the best feeling when another photographer will trust you to take their pics! I loved meeting them and their two boys!

A day at the park with the Stark family! It was so nice to meet them and their sweet boys. We talked about dinosaurs, explored the woods, played with sticks, watched the baby geese, had snacks and ran into friends. A great day!
