These two little girls were so cute! One squishy baby and a big sister that had so much personality… she can find a stage to perform anywhere!

Who doesn’t smile when they see a 6 month old baby with the biggest grin and brown eyes? She was such a doll!!I loved this session. After spending some time outside, out of nowhere it started to rain so we drove back to their house and spent the rest of the session in their amazing nursery!! Their fabulous dog Blu joined us (what a love) and I of course had to get some shots of their beautiful SHS senior! Can’t wait for her full senior session in a couple of weeks!

The coldest weekend that we had since last winter, I had three family sessions and this was one. AGAIN, the kids were amazing!! They were such good sports and totally understood that the sooner we get the shots we need, the faster we can all get in our cars. They were all over it! To go along with a great family, we had such beautiful light and got to take advantage of the last of the leaves. Beautiful!

I was really excited to photograph the Kopetz family (however I was not as excited about how cold it was.  The kids were amazing and didn’t complain that our fingers and noses were going to fall off!! Thanks guys for a great session!

I met the darling DuVal family down in the Pearl for their family session. Little Corbin was such a cutie with his red hair and big brown eyes. He loved all of the leaves on the ground, running around and trying to get away from us. Then, as a typical toddler, he decided that it was time to wrap up the shoot and head home for a nap! Can’t blame him :)

I did the Nelson’s family photos last year and was so excited  that they asked me again this year! We had a great time over at Lewis and Clark and once again, the girls were amazing. I could photograph them all day- they are so funny together, such different personalities, and so great in front of the camera! 

What do you do when your family all gets together, one flying in from Switzerland and the other down from Seattle? You get together for family photos! Sometimes large family photo sessions can feel like small weddings but this group was so relaxed and so much fun. The grandparents were darling, just laughing constantly at the craziness and enjoying having their family all around them. The three sisters were so cute together and all of those cousins, well they were tearing it up!

Kristen’s mom emailed me late one night asking if I could do a few head shots for her daughter.  I was so excited because they have this amazing white barn in the middle of suburbia (my house looks out onto it)  that I have been dying to use in photos! The only time I had available was early that next morning, so I rolled out of bed, walked 15 feet over to the barn and was ready to go! Kristen is a funny girl… she has no idea how pretty she is. Her smile is infectious and turns into a laugh every time. I love it when people have a hard time just smiling ‘a little bit’… she would just burst into this huge, beautiful smile every time. So her ‘just a couple of head shots’ turned into a full senior portrait session and I loved every minute of it. With her long, curly blonde hair, barn, grass, plaid shirt… we were saying it was her Taylor Swift moment. She pulled it off to perfection!
