I can’t believe that it was a bit over a year ago that I was photographing the Markham’s beautiful wedding and here we are doing a newborn session with their little boy! Their sweet girl Cassidy (who is the kindest dog) was so protective and would not leave their side when we were taking pics outside- we were having to throw bones to try to get her out of shots! So happy for this new little family!

I got a last minute email from the Bertapelle’s saying they just got home with their baby girl and were really late in contacting me for newborn pics. From her email I just liked her right away and I just couldn’t say no. So I moved some things around to make it happen and I’m so glad that I did! I had such a great morning with them just hanging around their house. The boys were silly, baby girl was snuggly and mom and dad couldn’t be any more easy-going. Their beloved nanny was also leaving so we took the opportunity to get some pics of her with the boys. I can’t wait to see them again this fall!
Another beautiful baby for the Giannini family and I’m so glad that I got to photograph them again. This was such a great newborn session… parents comfortable in front of the camera, a baby girl that sleeps the. entire. time and big brother that really doesn’t want much to do with us. In the end we were able to coax him into a few shots :)
I love that this was my last session of 2012- what a way to end it! I loved meeting this sweet new family and hanging out with them for the morning. Their darling little boy was so great and I couldn’t have asked for more easy-going, relaxed mom and dad (especially for being first-time parents!). Lulu (the Pug) was not so sure about the pictures but after awhile she finally gave in!
I was so excited to photograph baby Lucy and her family. She was born about 3 months early… and sweet little girl was in the hospital for quite some time but she was finally able to come home. Seeing her I couldn’t believe that she was a preemie, she has grown! It was also crazy to think that at our shoot, she still was supposed to be in her mom’s tummy. Along with being so cute she made the funniest, loudest noises- she definetly entertained us! She also has two the the sweetest big sisters and a mom and dad that just love her to pieces.
I was so excited to meet Miss Haven! After photographing her mom and dad since they were just dating and proud parents of dogs- I was ready for a baby!! She, however, was not as excited about her first photo session like the rest of us, only wanted to be held and finally dozed off and gave us a few smiles. I can’t wait to see her again!!
It was so great to see the DuVal family again and to meet their new baby girl! Her big brother was still the cutest thing ever and they are going to have so much fun playing together when she is older. This was one of those sessions where I had the hardest time choosing which pics to post… so I just posted a ton!
